Woman fined £860 for failing to clean up dog mess in her back garden

A woman has been fined for leaving dog poo in her back garden. Ria Parks, 34, left piles of faeces in the back yard without cleaning them up. She had previously been issued a community protection notice for not clearing up the mess in her back garden in Normacot, Stoke-on-Trent. As a result she was ordered to pay £860 in fines and court costs for the dog mess and a separate offence of leaving her bin out for collection on the wrong day.
